NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CHARLOTTE ARTIST HOLDS WATERCOLOR AND FIGURE DRAWING CLASS


Charlotte, NC-(Dec. 19, 2002)-Nationally recognized artist, Nancy Prator, will hold a watercolor and figure drawing class at The Drawing Room in Charlotte.

Prator is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and has most recently been working with animator and film maker Bill Plimpton on his upcoming feature film, High Hair.

Prator has also worked with Harper Collins and Details in New York City. She received a grant from Liquitex Paint Company for her series on New York firehouses. The works will be exhibited in the fall 2003 publication of `Portfolio 24'.
Prator will offer a watercolor and figure drawing class at The Drawing Room on Providence Road on January 6, 2003 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
