Brushwork

This show consists of three full size oil paintings. They show a progression of my work during this past year.

They have a narrative quality.

Each is based on a different recurring dream (nightmare) I have had. The oil paintings are an attempt to rid myself of the haunting recurrence. I somewhat painted the dream, however changed it so that the same thing would not occur. I thought that this would work, however the dreams continued.

I want to use my artistic skill and ability to transform (and triumph over) personal angst as dream therapy. Eventually helping others with their nightmares but first helping myself.
